Lotta Wennäkoski

born 1970 in Helsinki, Finland
studied music theory and composition at the Sibelius Academy, where her main teachers were Eero Hämeenniemi and Kaija Saariaho.
In 98 - 99 she spent a year in the Netherlands studying with Louis Andriessen.
Wennäkoski's music has been played in concerts in all nordic countries, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France and Great Britain.
A concert of her music took place in MUSICA NOVA HELSINKI - FESTIVAL in March 99.

Lior Navok

was born in Tel Aviv, Israel (1971).
Recently, "Hidden Reflections" his Debut CD, was released gaining recognition by music critics, and radio broadcasts.
Mr. Navok has received prizes from Omaha Symphony, Fromm Music Foundation, ASCAP's Rudolf Nissim Prize (Special distinction) the Galliard Ensemble, "America Israel Cultural Foundation," Illinois State University, Austin Peay University, New England Conservatory and "Amici Della Musica del Lagonegrese."
Mr. Navok earned his double bachelor's degree in classical composition and orchestral conducting from the Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music, Israel.
He received his Master's degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, MA, studying composition with John Harbison.
Currently,Lior Navok is pursuing a Doctor degree at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, where he studies conducting with Tamara Brooks.

David Revill

David Ravill has played, lectured and broadcast in countries such as Austria, Canada, Germany, Poland, Romania and particularly, in recent years, the U.S.A. and France.
From March to September 1997, he was resident in Minnesota, working as the McKnight Visiting Composer. Mr. Revill was Comissioned Composer at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls in 1994 (the first non-American to hold the post) and Guest Composer at UW-Eau Claire in 1996. Both visits featured concerts devoted entirely to this music.
The Vaugham Williams Trust, London, funded two extended visits to Ateliers UPIC in Paris (1992 and 1995) - the first time two grants were made to the same person.
In February 1997, he worked at the Heinrich-Strobel-Stiftung, Freiburg, Germany; he returns there next summer.
In addition to his work as a composer, Mr. Revill wrote the authorised biography of John Cage, Tosende Stille (List Verlag), and frequently lectures on the music of Cage - most recently on the New Music Study Day of the Percussive Arts Society in Columbus, Ohio.

Ruben Zahra

born in Malta 1972
The music of Ruben Zahra follows two levels of research:
compositions inspired from traditional modalities of Mediterranean music and compositions which conceive music performance as a theatrical act.
Throughout his academic formation Zahra has studied at the University of Malta (BA Music and Theatre studies), Accademia Musicale Chigiana of Siena (composition and film music Franco Donatoni and Ennio Morricone), Conservatorio L. Refice of Frosinone (Electronic Music with Giorgio Nottoli) and at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome (composition with Azio Corghi).
Zahra has worked in Malta, Italy and South Korea as a freelance composer and collaborates with various ensembles and musicians from Europe.
He is also the artistic director of the Malta International Project of Computer Music and often collaborates with local Maltese institutions to organise concerts promoting contemporary music.
